Been a while since MJ sang "black or white"..
little did he know.. truth was closer to the title of my post..
theres no denyin he was a genius..and truly the king of pop all thru the 80s and early 90s..
watever he said n did in his personal life..
his death, almost 2 decades after his last big hit, was enough to cripple the internet for a few hrs..
and more importantly.. he was truly a global icon.. any part of the world..
you mention michael jackson.. very good chances of the person across showing some sign of comprehension..
even a roadside sweeper right here in india might..
his is not the fate shared by other icons who died in similar situations.. like kurt cobain.. or elvis... or bruce lee..they died and seemed to have remained in the minds of a select few...
MJ will remain for a long long time to come..
and i for one, wont be surprised if this legend goes on to ring the registers of the labels that own his music.. for years after hes turned into dust..
