I came.. i saw.. i conquered..i think!!!

Post Deux:
The 2nd weekend creeping up.. since ive come here.. n already this place feels like home!
1st the fun stuff.. last 10 days or so.. involved 2 visits to the famous cocoa beach..
a visit to a harley showroom...
a visit to a Hooters..
The beach is a pretty cool place to be.. i guess its kind of the off season right now.. so hardly anybody at the beach.. just the 5 of us... and this whole loooooooooooooong n clean beach.. all to ourselves..

the harley visit was THE best thing ive done in a long time.. i was like just 1 step away from drooling all over the place.. lookin at all those machines..
Pete,me,anirudh n moorthy had gone over...
The best part is.. YOU CAN RENT A HARLEY!!!!
the downside: u need to be 25 yrs old.. put down a deposit of 2000$.. and the rentals were abt 140$ per day..
in short.. i only got to touch n stare at the bikes..!

Hooters: well.. hmmm.. errr.. how do i say this... but sorry folks.. really disappointed with the place..i mean ive seen better! though i must mention.. the food was above avg.. so if i go back.. it wud def be for the food!
( as proof.. i will put up pics of the pan cake faced 5 ft waitress.. and the gawky lookin 6.6' ft one!!! Seriously.. the management needs to improve their taste!!)

n now finally.. for the flying..
well.. finally feelin a bit more confident in the aircraft...
tday was a windy/gusty day.. n under normal circumstances.. NOT a good day to fly..
but then.. Justin was cool.. and said.. lets try it!
so went up.. tried a few ground ref maneavoures...n then.. funnily.. both me n Justin started feeling a bit queasy.. so we came back.. and plan to get back up there in an hr..
n try a few patterns..
the cross wind components are pretty strong.. landing and flying in such conditions is so 'out of this world'!!

btw.. just in case u r interested.. me,scott,david n anirudh will be goin to this nearby shooting range.. where u can rent guns for free.. and just pay for the rounds u use..
boy o boy.. lookin fwd to tat now!!!!
