Kaun banega "Remote" wala?

No.. its not a spoof a popular game show on an indian cable channel.
Its wat happens everynight in my flat. A direct result of 5 totally different personalities staying together.

As for me, my tv watching revolves around the handful of music and movie channels. my roomies just cant understand my fascination for the above.. accusing me of shamefully endorsing anything tats remotely from the west. in my defense, im a fan of music ( the music channels do play indie music too u kno!), the worst english movies r much better than the best hindi movies nowadays..

Then we have the stuck up cat veteran... i suspect he cant do his daily ablutions unless he has a glimpse of the newsreader at 9pm. " The statue of so-n-so .. at this nukkad in the middle of nowhere... is bein crapped upon.. as we speak.. n tat was the top headline/ breaking news exclusively brought to u by *.* news chanel".... this is enough to bring on the happy,smug, glazed look on his face.. which u mite otherwise c on the face of a constipated guy who just took a dump.

then we have the freak of nature.. who i suspect spent all 22 yrs of his life, till last yr.. in an ALL MALE PRISON.. somewhere in california..i think.. seeing hairy,semi( or mebbe completely) nude males day in n day out has taken its toll on his psyche. now the guy spends all his waking moments staring at FTV... he does apologise from time to time for stainin the front room with his drool...

n then we have "gangubhai"... the guy will not mind bein asked to watch anythin on the tv.. but when the clock strikes 10pm.. the whole flat resounds with squeaks of "kumari gangubai metric".. "WTF".. yes.. tats precisely wat i myself said when i 1st heard it.. but luckily for me.. the guy can easily be subdued n packed off into his bedroom.. n thus save myself further "tv abuse"..

n finally we have the sports fan.. im bein liberal with the usage of the word sports.. cuz this guy seems to be most interested in "contact" sports.. namely.. WWE. the plot lines and charactors of this "sport".. can put even ekta kapoor or "bold n beautiful' to shame.. complete with cheatin wife.. jealous husband.. helpless orphan..handicapped sidekick.. "evil grin" wala villain..n lots of xtras...! the works. hope some day this retard realises that no amount of ogling at the "WWE DIVAS" will ever get him any.

Thankfully.. common sense and bullying prevails.. n i get to have my way.. n make others more or less watch wat i want on the idiot box..
