i sit in the discussion room.. a KT for my new project goin on...PM walks in.. "sorry, KT must stop..we cant induct u guys into the team"..
"why?"
"ure blocked for transfers to BCMD. u cant be utilised by us in DHL".
(APAC cant use my service.. BCMD doesnt want me!!)

5 months back:
i finish work on my last project..am back on the bench..walk into my GPM's office..the guy always has a smile for me..unfortunately tats all he seems to have.
"hi, any projects in the pipeline?"
"i need java resources, n tat too experienced ones.sorry" ( a smile again!)

9 months back:
"can u c tat.. tats hosur rd.. we cant expand any more..!! go back to pune"
"go back..? will we be on bench there too..?"
"bench there too..? do u kno wat bench is..?? so u kno anythin abt business?? do u read papers??"
(chill dude..how did an innocent "bench" question turn into a "do u read newspapers" sermon?!!)


'n' yrs from now:
"n now.. to call upon the only employee in infy whos been on our payrolls for so long.. n hasnt contributed even an iota towards our revenue.. may i have the honor of pls callin upon stage.. rahul nair to receive the "best employee" award"..
(a deafening round of applause... none of it reaches my ears though.. )

MORAL: dont give a benched employee access to a blog..!!
